Before becoming Sailor Venus, Minako lived in England with Artemis and fought crime as Sailor V!!! She was very popular and had her own video games, dolls, and mangas!! She was Usagi's hero and Usagi often wished to be just like her.
Minako is a very caring and sweet person. She is considerate and is also boy crazy, but not as much as Kino Makoto(Sailor Jupiter).
In the first four series, she attended Shibakourn Junior High School (aka, CrossRoads Junior High), but finally, she went to Juuban High School along with the other Sailor Senshi, save for Hino Rei (aka, Sailor Mars).

The reason Minako wears her hair in a red bow is because a boy told her she'd look cute in that style(in the Sailor V manga).
